This policy explains how Cebeci Group (“we”, “us”) processes personal data when you visit this website or contact us through it. We process personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), where it applies, and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). We do not sell personal data and do not use it for automated decision-making.
Who receives your data
- Our own staff in Türkiye and, for customers in Pakistan, at Cebeci Pakistan Group in Karachi, to handle your enquiry.
- Service providers that host the website, deliver form submissions and e-mail, and (with your consent) provide analytics. They process data on our instructions under data processing agreements.
- Logistics and customs partners, only when an enquiry becomes an order and only the data needed to ship it.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
If you contact us via WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) processes your data under its own privacy policy.
International transfers
Some service providers and our Karachi office are outside Türkiye and the European Economic Area. Where data is transferred, we rely on adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or other safeguards permitted by the GDPR and Article 9 of the KVKK.
How long we keep data
Enquiries that do not lead to business are deleted within two years of the last contact. Data related to orders is kept for as long as commercial and tax law requires (in Türkiye generally ten years). Server logs are kept for a short period, normally no longer than 90 days. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you access to your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, and to provide it in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect processing carried out before. Under the KVKK you also have the rights listed in Article 11.
To exercise your rights, write to info@cebecipumice.com. We answer within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority, in Türkiye the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK), or in the EU the authority in your country of residence.
